Senior Microstrategy Developer - Both US and Canada Full-Time and Contract opportunities:

As a MicroStrategy Developer, the skills and responsibilities include

• Architect, design, analyze, code, test, debug and implement new development and enhancement projects with MicroStrategy 8
  
• Model, design and implement a functional MicroStrategy project with little supervision
  
• Create MicroStrategy reports and related objects using both MicroStrategy Desktop and Web interface
  
• Interact with the team to facilitate development, provide status reports, and perform software migration activities
  
• Create, update and maintain application technical documentation
  
• Conduct post production implementation support activities
  
• Execute assigned project tasks within established schedule

Skills/Competencies

• Must have 2+ years experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting reporting solutions with MicroStrategy version 7i or greater
• Must have experience with RDBMS and OLAP design and development
• Must have experience writing and debugging report SQL
• Must have experience with data flow and process modeling, analyzing business requirements and translating to written architectural, design, and functional specifications
• Must possess sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively with users of Information Systems services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interviewing and interpretive skills, as well as abilityto effectively present, negotiate, influence, and build consensus
• Extremely organized with strong sense of priority, urgency and commitment to deadlines

Successful implementor of JDA Suite of products (e.g. Intactix, MMS, E3, PMM, PWM...)

Provides other functional consulting which includes:

• Develops business process maps
• Develops functional specifications for modifications to JDA applications
• Develops test plans and scripts, and supports customer testing efforts
• Develops training materials
• Trains end users
• Provides functional support to customer during implementation and rollout phases
• Assists in the completion of project functional documentation which includes:
